Future Jobs Fund

The Future Jobs Fund is the latest element of the Government's plan to help people who have lost their jobs as a result of the global recession.
The devastating effect that the past recessions had on individuals and communities, many are still recovering from the real and lasting damage of being abandoned to life on benefits.

The programme will help deliver a guarantee of a job or training for all young people and which will create jobs that are of benefit to local communities.
The Jobs Fund provides the money and are now looking to local authorities, local and regional partnerships, social enterprises and the wider third sector to create new, additional jobs for young people and those from deprived areas that deliver real benefit to their communities.
