Richard Edwards, Operations Officer
Richard has served as worked in accounting-related fields for many years,
serving as Finance Director for a Group of 11 companies, dealing with
re-structuring of the Group and acquisitions. Richard's experience at
senior levels of different organisations, from small SME's to a multi national
organisation, brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the team.
Luke Vincett, Financial Controller
Having worked as an auditor for over 4 years with a top ten audit company and
qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Luke moved into industry where he has
worked for companies from the size of start ups to plc's, giving him a wide
range of experience.
Consultants
Peter Berry, Coordinator and Business Consultant, BSc, MIBC
Peter has worked with small business owners and start-ups in a broad range of
disciplines and industry sectors for many years. His career includes
engineering management at senior level with blue chip chemical manufacturing
companies as welll has having had his own business in engineering consultancy in
1998. He is a member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Chartered
Management Institute, the Institute of Quality Assurance and the Institute of
Business Advisers. He is a SFEDI accredited Business Adviser (Small Firm
Enterprise Development Initiative) and is on the National Register of Business
Support Professionals. He is also a Committee member and current Treasurer
of the Bexley Business Club.
Stephen Russell-Smith, Business Consultant
Stephen has a lot of experience as a business trainer and consultant to small
and medium enterprises in the UK and overseas. Stephen had 23 years'
experience in a major U.K. bank including over 9 years as a manager in a variety
of roles in England and in South East Asia. He is professionally qualified and
SFEDI accredited in business counselling and consulting and he holds a number of
non-executive directorships in small businesses and charities. A clear
thinker and persuasive communicator, Stephen enjoys working with others to find
creative solutions to problems. His wide experience with all types and
sizes of business make him uniquely able to combine sound business principles
with a practical common sense approach. His teaching style is engaging,
and his perceptive, sympathetic manner is highly valued in both training and
consulting in the UK and internationally.
